Welcome! My name is Sara Nuahn, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and couples to become more secure and confident in their everyday lives. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm so grateful you have decided to commit to yourself, because ultimately that is where it begins. I have had a great deal of experience during my career, working with individuals moving through many of life's transitions, and at times, challenges. I believe each of us is triggered by past and present life circumstances that contribute to how we cope day to day. I believe in the value of connection, feeling heard, and recognizing people for their individuality and personal needs. I am committed to being a bridge to support you in understanding personal and relationo patterns, gaining coping skills, positive emotional health, and reducing the severity and frequency of symptoms.

Jade Counseling, LLC was created by Sara Nuahn, LICSW out of a strong passion for emotional wellness and the mind, body connection. Paying attention to and exerting some control over your emotional, behavioral, and mental states can foster a sense of calm, enhance optimism, and provide social support as well as improve the quality of life. Sara has a strong passion for connecting pieces to each clients personal life puzzle.
When we begin to understand the patterns to our symptoms, we can begin to feel more in control, gain insight, personal self-awareness, and learn to repave or redirect a path through life challenges and changes.

Parent coaching sessions: Whether you are becoming a new parent, working to understand the changing stages of development with your child/children, redefining your “parenting style” with teenagers and adult children, or working through how to communication in the relationship, we will help you walk through each step. What are your expectations, how are you understanding your own personal patterns, and attachment styles, and how are you seeing them play out in your parenting journey.
