Do you take Insurance ?

Jade Counseling, LLC will not accept third party payments. There are several reasons why I choose not to work directly with insurance companies.

• Most often insurance will pay for what they define as “medically necessary” and will determine how many sessions you’re allowed to have. When paying privately, we can decide together what is best for you.

• Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis while in private pay a diagnosis is not necessary.

• Generally, in couples work, insurance will only cover couples counseling if one of the partners has a mental health diagnosis. A diagnosis is not needed when paying out of pocket.

• Information from sessions is not confidential from your insurance provider as they require case note and treatment plans

• You may have Flex Plan benefits through your employer that you can use to pay for your therapy sessions

New clients can schedule online for individual therapy or coaching. Please note Sara’s calendar is open on a rolling three month calendar with a new day opening each day.

Parent Coaching: Interested in only parents coaching, please specify when reaching out.

Clinical supervision can be scheduled by contacting Sara directly for current dates and individual/group supervision slots available.

If you need to cancel an appointment, 24 hours notice is required, no shows and late cancellations past 24 hours in advance will be charged $100 fee.

A form and card will be required to be filled out and kept on file to be charged after the completion of your session.

Our calendar tends to fill quickly, it is strongly encouraged to schedule more than one appointment.
